. Admission requirements

New applications must be made online in May on our website. For students already enrolled in the current year, the procedure will be sent by e-mail in June.

 

The Académie Rainier III is open to students aged 6 and over (CP).

Experienced adults are welcome to join one of our Orchestras, with no obligation to follow a diploma course.

 

Application fee: €25 per student (amount set by the Local Council).
Registration fees: according to price list.

For students with no ties (professional, school, residence), admission is by competitive examination, subject to availability.

Enrolment in Formation Musicale is automatic for beginners; other new students will be required to take a placement test. Admission to instrument classes is by assessment, subject to availability.

No refunds will be made once registration fees have been paid.

 

 

 

. Equipment and services

The Academie Rainier III has a range of instruments, some of which are available for rental to our students.

If the desired instrument cannot be made available(e.g. piano, organ or harpsichord), work studios are available to students upon reservation.

PMR access | The Académie auditorium is accessible to people with reduced mobility from level -1 of the Parking de la Condamine, where there are two specially reserved parking spaces. From here, reinforced signage leads to the automated ramp with call device connected to the Académie's security station. This device enables you to inform our staff of your arrival to ensure the best possible welcome. As the auditorium has two places for people with reduced mobility, please inform us of your needs when you make your reservation.
